Analysis of WeWork’s Finance Technology stack

WeWork has been in the news for the wrong reasons recently.

We look at the cloud products that WeWork uses to manage their finance processes with the help of data collected from various public sources .

WeWork’s Finance Technology stack

Tech companies are usually the first ones to try out new software products available in the market.

Understanding Finance technologies stack used by various tech companies would help businesses improve their own business process using better technology.


ERP – WorkDay – Workday provides an ERP system that covers Finance , HR and business planning . Workday’s ERP system is in use by major Tech companies – the likes of Netflix, Amazon .

 

Real Estate investment accounting platform – YARDI

Yardi makes software suites for property management, marketing, commercial applications, senior living and investments for all sizes of property management and real estate companies.  Yardi’s software consists of cloud-based tools that work on both desktop and mobile platforms.

Yardi’s main offering of property management software comes in two suites: Breeze, for small to medium sized property management companies and Voyager, for large property management companies. Breeze focuses on single-family homes and multifamily properties. Voyager focuses on commercial property management. Both include tools for accounting, operations and ancillary processes.

 

Looker – Allows you to create dashboards by connecting the software to your ecommerce website. You can schedule “Looks”( daily/weekly reports) with various customisable metrics to be sent via emails to you and your colleagues

 

Anaplan is another Financial Planning and Analysis which helps with Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting using customisable reports

Oracle Hyperion Financial Management is a comprehensive, Web-based application that delivers global financial consolidation, reporting and analysis in a single, highly scalable software solution

Docusign– Allows businesses to get documents signed online without having to deal with the hassle of priniting , sending and manually signing documents.

Chasepaymentech – Chase Paymentech is a payment processing solution provided by JPMorgan Chase. Paymentech payment platforms allows  businesses to accept payments via credit cards, debit cards, ACH etc

Square – Square allows businesses to accept payments via the square reader which allows cards to be swiped on a mobile device attached with a square reader.
